Meet the Team
Sarah Young – Director
Sarah’s musical journey began at age 8 when she started to play the cello. Sarah has performed with various orchestras in the UK and abroad, and had the privilege of performing with Julian Lloyd Webber and the BBC concert orchestra. Sarah graduated with a BA (hons) and spent 5 years teaching music in a secondary school before moving into the primary sector and becoming Director of Music.
Sarah has had a love of theatre and performing arts from a young age, enjoying several lead roles in productions. Sarah is a trained vocal coach, and has enjoyed performing across the UK in an ABBA tribute band, and performing as a solo and ensemble vocalist.
Sarah is passionate about giving high quality opportunities to young people. Her aim is to instil confidence, build self-esteem, and allow children to express themselves through the arts.
Jan Cross – Director
Jan has been in the music business since the age of 15. As a trained vocalist and drummer, Jan has performed both at home and abroad working with many different styles of musician including rock, pop, jazz and country. As well as working with many famous artistes, Jan has also worked as a radio presenter and has produced many concerts.
Song writing is a big passion and Jan has had success in song writing competitions as well as composing music for television.
Jan has been teaching music for over 20 years both in schools and with her own studio, and has had many successes with students performing on X factor and appearing in London’s West end.

Mia Lincoln – Dance, Drama & Vocal Coach
Mia is a talented vocal, dance and drama coach with years of experience in the theatre. Mia completed a music theatre course at Tiffany Theatre College, and went on to perform in Hairspray, Shrek, and Jack in the Beanstalk. Mia is a vibrant member of the team with a wealth of experience.
Polly Raymond – Vocal Coach
Polly Raymond is an established professional singer. Her career has seen her in demand as a lead vocalist for many bands playing in top London venues and all over the country. She has travelled the world as an individual artist and as a backing vocalist for a variety of major artists. Polly, also been in demand as a session singer, was proud to be asked to sing on the soundtrack for the film Evita.
Polly has trained with various singing teachers over the years and is happy passing on her vast knowledge of singing to up and coming ‘stars’
Trinity Smith – Class Assistant
Trinity has trained with us since she was 6 years old. Trinity is a talented and dynamic vocalist and performer. Trinity has loved being on stage from an early age, delighting audiences with her sparkling personality! Trinity is currently training to be a primary school teacher, and her love of children, and vibrant personality makes her a great asset to the team.
Katie Foreman – Class Assistant
Katie has trained with us since the age of 6, and is a talented and dedicated member of the team. Katie passed her Grade 7 vocal exam with distinction, and will be taking her final examination in October. Katie has performed in many shows, including the lead role of Elsa in an adaptation of ‘Frozen’. Katie loves working with children , and her kind and patient approach to teaching makes her a valuable asset to the team.
